Smoker's Survival Kit

Smoker\

So you've went out for a little hike and gotten yourself lost. Here you are, stranded in the wilderness, no more smokes( If you do smoke) and itching for a drag.
Most Survival packs found on this website take for granted that you don't smoke, although there are no benefits to smoking many of us cannot kick the habit. If you are a smoker and frequent the outdoors it would be a good idea to plan ahead.
As many of us smokers know withdrawal from smoking can cloud you're judgement. This can lead to rash decisions, such as running aimlessly through the woods seeking rescue. This is something you do not want to do, If you find yourself lost the best thing to do is to simply stop, sit down and wait.
When stranded in the middle of no where it can be a very stressful time, more so if you happen to be a smoker. With some planning you can ease the stress of waiting for rescue knowing that you will have something to smoke, other than the stress and anxiety on top of being lost.

DISCLAIMER
This instructable is for a mature crowd, I in no way condone taking up smoking as a pass time while lost or otherwise. If you do not happen to be a smoker I applaud you and ask you to respect this able' and troll elsewhere.

Step 1Materials

Materials

For this simple kit you will need:
Tobacco ( I bought accord since it is 100 grams and cheap)
Receptacle ( In my case a leather bag I made from a leather mitten)
Small Pipe (The smaller the bowl the better if you plan on conserving you're tobacco)
Lighter ( I chose a zippo, refillable and you can light them just about anywhere)

I've been making 'ibles about smoking, and I haven't had many page views... It would be appreciated if some people would read and comment on them. So far, I have one for making a cheap bong. Just click on my name and view my instructibles if you want to.

Neat instructable!
The only tiffs I with it is the lighter choice. After trying to smoke some "greener" tobacco out of my pipe with a Zippo I realized: They're horrible.
But if you're hell bent on putting the Zippo in (must be the lovely click they make), then I would definetly replace the pipe with some papers or build a hard case into the side of the pouch and fill it with some empty tubes. (not sure of efficiency) But if you're desparate enough, you could just pack the tobacco in with a trig, or something.
Other than those two things, I think I'm going to throw something like this together for summer! Thanks

You get some poison ivy and chew it like dip.

Regarding your lighter choice, I do tend to note that if you use the zippo as soon as you lit it (like less than 2 seconds), you can taste the favor of the fuel. In fact, this is a reason why people go for bic lighter or even a butane pipe lighter, especially those with build in pipe tools (also good as tools for some other things or sort.) However, even with the pipe-lighter zippo model I am using, I do find that zippo can work in cold weather, while my butane pipe lighter refuse the light up at 2am outside even though it's spring with no wind.

Also, Small pipes, such as the nose warmers/minis from Missouri Meerschaum, would probably be better if one have more money to spend?

Lastly, you forgot pipe tools. I just never feel comfortable doing a pipe without a czech tool.
