Snowman Carousel

This was another fun project I finished a few weeks before Christmas.
The plans for this were featured in Wood Magazine.

I am not going to go into details on how to complete it but I will give a rundown.
I didnt follow Wood Mags plans.

I used a lathe for all of this except the snowmen. They require a scroll-saw to complete. The snowmen were painted with a water based acrylic paint. tghen once assembled I sprayed 4 coats of Water-based Polycrylic from Minwax.

you also have to order the music box which costs around 10 bucks. The wood I selected for this was a Walnut base with a cherry canopy and floor for the snowmen. I used basic dowel rod from a hardware store for the poles.
