Does anyone else's browser show the yellow squares off to the left? Something's wrong...
Yup. They're off to the left for me too. At first I thought that was intentional, making a joke about "uninstall all". Too early in the morning for me.

Something wrong with the coding of this site. I use Opera, and it's designed to not automatically fix html, css etc. errors in sites. Great for bug finding, bad for user experiences.

Jeez. I hope this does mean I have to use IE or FireFox to post my instructables......BLECH! I can't live without my Opera.

Unless you're doing something really wrong you shouldn't have to reset your palm so much it becomes a hassle right? And besides theres a pin inside the stylus of most palm pilot's.

Older Palms freeze quite a bit. I have no idea why. Only the metal stylus' (which never come with a Palm when you buy one) have the unscrewable top with the pin inside. I only ever had a plastic one (the one that came with it), which I lost anyway. BTW, I do not have a Palm Pilot. I have a Palm IIIe. Palm Pilots are from the mid-nineties.

No, the stylus ships with the 'pro' PDAs from above the III series. Dunno about the original four models, but everything thats not an m1xx or Zire or such has a metal stylus. My m515 and Tungsten W came with one. Hell, my Visor Neo even has a screwdriver in the stylus. Anyway, if you have older Palms freezing it is because you are either trying to run something it isn't supposed to, you fail, or its broken. Most likely the first two.

Why would you need to reset the Palm if it's not frozen?

Sometimes if you install something or change a setting that requires resetting. I think. It's been months since I've used my Palm, the screen's broken.
so thats what it's for!!
Well I thought it was a toothpick at first, but I figured it out.

I pretty much refer to all palms as palm pilots. I don't care about all the different ones and their names.
