Step 2Bend the copper tube
I used a 1" pipe to wrap the copper around. I am a pretty strong guy and this was a difficult task. In the future I may go with 1/4 inch tube rather than 3/8 inch diameter.
The reason I used fittings on the end was because I was not able to get the proper bend at the end of the copper tube. The turn was to tight to make without deforming the copper.
The copper coil you see in this photo will rest inside a 2" wide copper pipe.
