DJ Station and Laptop Base - Soporte Para Portatil Y Estacion Para DJ

The Idea:
I have fun mixing music at home and eventually I do it at parties with friends, a few months ago I bought an amplified speaker to connect my laptop with Virtual DJ and a small controller, after a while I decided to build a support that allowed me to place the everything on top of the speaker at a comfortable height to mix.
This fixture is composed by two parts, a base for the laptop that can be used alone on a table or desk and a table that is tied to the speaker to place everything.

materials:
8 3/4" PVC T 
10 3/4" PVC Elbows
2 3/4" PVC caps
9' (approx) 3/4" PVC pipe
PVC glue
Velcro

The measures depend on your laptop, you should cut and assembly everything without glue to make sure it works well disassemble and glue.

La Idea:
Me divierto mucho mezclando música en casa y eventualmente lo hago en fiestas con amigos, hace unos meses compre un parlante amplificado al cual conecto mi portátil (laptop) con virtual DJ y una pequeña consola, luego de un tiempo decidí construir un soporte que me permitiera colocar el portátil y la consola sobre el parlante a una altura cómoda para mezclar de pie.
Este soporte se compone de dos parte, una base para el laptop que puedes utilizar sola sobre una mesa o escritorio y una mesa que se amarra al parlante para colocar todo.

Materiales:
8 T de 3/4"
10 Codos de 3/4"
2 Tapones soldados de 3/4"
3 mts (Aproximado) de tubo de 3/4
Soldadura de PVC
Velcro

Las medidas dependen de su portátil, es recomendable cortar y armar todo sin pegarlo para poder comprobar que todo funciona bien

Step 1: Laptop Base - Soporte Para Laptop

Assemble the bottom as pictured.
The "T" should be at 70 ° or so, this is the angle that best suits my needs, but may vary if, before applying the glue try different angles.
See the second photo for clarity.

Ensamble la parte inferior como muestra la imagen.
Las "T" deben quedar a 70° aproximadamente, este es el angulo que mejor se acomoda a mis necesidades, pero en su caso puede variar, antes de aplicar la soldadura pruebe diferentes ángulos.

Step 2:

It is easier to build the base for parts and then join all parts, in the next picture you can see how all these pieces go together.

Es mas fácil armar la base por partes y luego unir todas las partes, en la siguiente foto podrá ver como unir todas esta piezas.

Step 3:

Finish assembling all the parts as shown in the image and then paint it with your favorite color.

Termine de ensamblar todas las piezas como muestra la imagen y luego pintela de su color favorito.

Step 4: Table - Mesa

In my case the table legs fit on 4 points that are located on top of the speaker as shown in the photo.
Following the same procedure above measure, cut and assemble all the parts before applying the glue.

En mi caso las patas de la mesa cubren 4 topecitos que están ubicados en la parte superior del parlante como se ve en la foto.
Siguiendo el mismo procedimiento anterior mida, corte y ensamble todas las piezas antes de aplicar la soldadura para PVC.

Step 5:

After assembling the laptop base and the legs of the table, the two parts are joined to a piece of plywood using nylon ties.

Luego de armadas la base para el portátil y las patas para la mesa se unen las 2 a una tabla utilizando amarres de nailon.

Step 6:

Finally the entire assembly is placed on the speaker and tied with Velcro to fit snugly and not move.
Then connect the laptop and controller, to connect the laptop to the speaker and headphones use the Y Channel Separator described here.

PENDING TO DO: A skirt that covers the entire set to make it look like a single unit.

Por ultimo se coloca todo el conjunto sobre el parlante y se amarra con el velcro para que quede bien ajustado y no se mueva.
Luego instale el computador y la consola, conecte el computador al parlante y los audífonos utilizando el separador en canales describimos aquí.

PENDIENTE POR HACER: Una falda que cubra todo el conjunto para que se vea como una sola unidad.
