SparkTruck Recommends: 3D Printing

3D printers are high tech tools that turn CAD drawings on the computer into 3D objects made primarily of plastic. There are many 3D printers on the market, but we use the Cubify 3D printer on the SparkTruck. The Cubify is robust, somewhat simple to use and fairly inexpensive. 3D printers and CAD software are the most complex of our tools, though with some basic training and the recent innovation in CAD software (we prefer Autodesk’s TinkerCad) great advances have been made in bringing 3D printing into classrooms and to those who are less experienced.
