Introduction: Special Effects Tote II

Picture of Special Effects Tote II

I liked my first Special Effects Tote Bag so much that I made one for myself. (My original black and white one was for a friend.) The pattern is featured in Jan/Feb '08 Crochet Today! Magazine, and I used Red Heart Super Saver: Burgundy, and Red Heart Super Saver: Black for the colors, along with a size H/8 crochet hook. It is made from 8 square motifs and two handle sides all whipstitched together. It's fast, easy, and fun to make! It took me about 2 days to make. For me, each motif square took about an hour (however, some took less time than that), but it sewed up quickly.

Could you post instructions on how to crochet the squares? That would be awesome :) Thank you.

I do not have the pattern anymore. :( But I will do my best to figure out the squares again (I think I have a similar pattern lying around...). Check back often and I will get instructions up as soon as I can.

please send me the pattern I already have the material to knit it, I? crazy about it

deadalchemist (author)lagordita2008-07-24

It's not a knit, it's a crochet, so if you do not know how to crochet I cannot change this pattern in order to help you.

I know how to crochet too so you dont have to change it!

Really cool, the first one was awesome too. I just realized that the first Special effects was the same color as the Guitar Hero I controllers, and this Special effect thing is the same color as the Guitar Hero II controllers.

...thats really funny, haha! i have guitar hero II so maybe that was a subconscious thing on my part?

That's pretty cool. I like it!
