Introduction: Spooky Eyes Brussel Sprouts Appetizer

Easy to make, delicious and a crowd pleaser.

Preheat the oven to 385 degrees.


Brussel Sprouts (enough to feed your gang)

pitted black olives (you need 1 olive for every 4 brussel sprouts)

olive oil

garlic salt

Step 1: Wash and Trim Brussel Sprouts

Wash brussel sprouts and cut off any tough ends and wilted outside leaves.

Step 2: Make a Slit

Make a slit in the brussel sprouts careful not to cut more than half way through.

Step 3: Drizzle and Season

Drizzle with olive oil

Sprinkle with garlic salt

Step 4: Bake

Place on a baking sheet and bake for 30-45 minutes, tossing every 10-15 minutes.

Step 5: Out of the Oven and Cool

Take the roasted brussel sprouts out of the oven when done.

Allow to cool.

Step 6: Turn Olives Into Eyes

Take each olive and cut in half lengthwise.

Take each half and cut again lengthwise (so that you now have a quarter).

Step 7: Making Eyes at You

Open up the brussel sprout at the slit.

Take one of the olive quarters and place it into the opening. Prepare to see the brussel sprout transform into an eye looking back up at you!

Step 8: Finishing Touches

Repeat until you have a whole plate of eyes!
