Spooky Sunflower Mod

Spooky Sunflower Mod
Sunflowers are icons of late summer and fall. Add a dimension of creepiness to your Autumn arrangements by converting some of the sunflowers they contain into leering, scowling, or angry faces with some polymer clay and a little hot glue.

I'm no expert at sculpting faces but I managed to put some details onto a piece of brown polymer clay made to fit the center of the sunflowers I already had. There are some tips here at Sclupt a Face. I simply removed the center of the sunflower, created and baked a clay piece the same size as the original middle (according to package directions), and hot glued the face in place.
