Spy ipod earphones with hidden microphone

Hi this is my first instructables it's a very simple one that you can make very easily and that you can use to spy conversations and no one will know how you do it!! PS sorry for my probably wrong english hope you enjoy my idea!!

The title is misleading.. it should have been "Fake ipod earphones that can be used as spy mic"

And the recording device needs a 3.5mm input?!

how do you know which wire to connect to which side of the microphone???

Sorry...this project is very nice but i did not understand how it works...remove the earphones ok, replace one with microphone ok ...but those cables carry the audio from the player, as you can to register? I don't understand this step... thank you

Swap the word register for record.
The Headphones will become a microphone, what I think nikk985 means is that they will not work with the ipod but will work when pluged into something that will record.

yes obviously as i said they will work plugged into a walkman or a small recorder.. what i meant is that other people when they see this classic ipod earphones they will think that you are listening to music.. but in real you are recording what they are saying throught a mini recorder in your pocket where the earphones are plugged in.

This is great and your english was fine. You could even plug it in to a regular MP3 player and record your audio!

you do not put the jack in an i pod you put it in a walkman or something else that can register, obwiously you put the jack in the hole to register!
