Introduction: "Squirrelly Wrath" Anti-Yo Worldwide Video Yo-yo Contest

Here's a fun little trick I came up with. It's very loosely based on the flow of the trick "Skin the Gerbil" by the legendary Doctor Popular. It's a fairly easy trick to learn but can be hard to get smooth. I tried my hardest to keep the spirit of Instructables with this video. The trick is not done fast so it should be easy to learn from. The description is as clear as I could get it without using much yo-yo "Jargon." I hope that someone with very little yo-yo experience can watch and read this trick and have enough information to try it. Enjoy.

1. Throw a breakaway. As the yo-yo comes back down stick your index finger on your non throw hand out so the string hits it. Now put your throw hand index finger out it and let the yo-yo go around it and land the yo-yo on the string farthest from your body. You should now be in a kind-of-a one and a half mount.

2. Now point you throw hand index finger towards your non throw hand. Swing the yo-yo under then over your non throw hand and then land it on the string that goes around your throw hand index finger closest to you.

3. Pinch all the strings with your thumb on your non throw hand. Drop the string on your throw hand index finger as you swing the yo-yo under than over your non throw hand index finger. This should cause a loop to form. Now catch that loop with your throw hand index finger.

4. Hook the string closest to your body coming off your non throw hand index finger with your thumb. The next part is hard to explain so watch the video closely. You are going to want to bring your non throw hand over your throw hand which will make your hands cross. When doing this you are going to want to transfer the yo-yo to the string that is top most on your throw hand index finger. Swing the yo-yo over your throw hand wrist while pointing your throw hand index finger towards you. Bring your non throw hand under and around the yo-yo. When you do this it should transfer the yo-yo to the string coming off your throw hand index finger. Finally untwist your throw hand index finger by pointing down than away from you. *If you know Rancid Milk this last step is very similar to a move in that trick.*

5. Pop the yo-yo off the string that it is resting on towards the front. Pinch all the strings on your throw hand index finger with your throw hand thumb. Drop the string on your non throw hand index finger as you swing the yo-yo under than over your throw hand index finger. This should cause a loop to form. Now catch that loop with your non throw hand index finger. At this point you should be in a basic trapeze.

6. Dismount the trapeze any way you like and return the yo-yo to your hand.
