Introduction: Gummybear JellO Shots

Picture of Gummybear JellO Shots

Perfect summer cocktail.

To get a real pretty Multi colored stained glass effect I used Gummy Bears.

It is very simple and easy to make.

If your guests like to get tipsy you can make the shots with whatever alcohol you like -Rum, vodka or even whisky.

If you expect little ones or those who refrain from alcohol make Virgin Jelly Shots by just omitting the alcohol.

Big or small young or old....they will all love these rainbow colored shots

Ingredients:

A pack Gummy bears

Vodka, Rum, Whiskey or any other drink of your choice. I used Dark Rum here.

Gelatin,

Water,

Sugar

Step 1:

First you will need a pack of gummy bears.

Chop them into halves or fourths and place them in a glass bowl.

Pour in some warm water just to cover them up. This will make them softer.

Keep aside for 10-15 minutes.

Step 2:

In a cooking pan take 4 sheets gelatin and pour over some warm water.

The measures will be mentioned on the packing.

If you decide to make it virgin Jelly go by the instructions on the pack else use only 1/2 the water mentioned in the recipe.

Cook on a low flame till all gelatin is dissolved.

Add to this mixture the water from the soaked gummy bears. This gives flavor.

Add in 2Tbsof sugar.

Take the pan off the heat and let it cool.

TASTE.:see if you need to add any more sugar. If needed put int he desired amount of sugar and reheat till dissolved.

Step 3:

Remove the box.

Place it upside down on a place and tap. The jelly will slide out on the plate.

With a sharp knife cut into cubes. Arrange on a tray.

Serve your Jelly shots chilled.
