These cookies are simple and delicious.. perfect for children, with coffee, milk or eaten alone

Step 1: Ingredients

200gr of butter
1/2 cups of powdered sugar
1/2 cup of maizena (indian corn flour) 
2 cups of flour
milk
chabacano/ peach jam

Step 2: Make the dough and refrigerate

Cream the butter, add the powdered sugar, after the flours. Add milk so the dough is manageable. 

Refrigerate from 1 hour to 2 days... not more, but it needs to have at least one hour in the fridge, better if two. 

Step 3: Make the stars!

Put some flour in a table so the dough doesn't get sticked to it. Also put some flour into the rolling pin. 

Roll the dough very thin... like less than a half centimeter...

cut the stars and place them in a tray. With your finger or a spoon, make a little cavity in the center... add some jam there (few).

Step 4: Bake

Bake at 180°C (that's 360°F) for 15 minutes aproximately... or until they gold in the borders. 

Take them out of the oven... let them cold. I like to sprinkle some powdered sugar over them but they are good also without it


and finally.... BE CREATIVE! :D you can make the shape you want.
