A cute stationery box including cards, envelopes, gift tags, note cards, an address book, a pocket for stamps, and a pen.
3 Pieces of Scrapbook Paper Cut Into: (See Publisher File Attached For Layout) 12 "x 12" 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" 5 1/2" x 2" 4 1/2" x 2" ...
Trim white edges from 3 pieces of scrapbook paper.
Score First page at 3" and 9". Turn 90 degrees. Score at 5" and 7".
Cut score lines (5" and 7") to other score lines (3" and 9").
Apply adhesive to the 3" x 2" flaps. Fold over flaps and adhere.
Cut 1 3/4" off of each top flap. Crease lines at the 3" and 9" folds.
Score the bottom flaps at 1" on each side.
Take a new piece of paper and cut a 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" rectangle.
Score this piece at 1 1/4" on two short sides and one long side.
Cut the corners. Apply adhesive on edges.
Adhere three edges to the smaller flaps of previously used paper. Trim corners for a better look.
From the third piece of paper, cut a 4 1/2" x 2" piece and a 5 1/2" x 2" piece.
Score these two pieces at 1/2" and 1" on two short sides.
Apply adhesive to the outermost flaps of these two pieces. Apply adhesive to the next outermost flap of one of the pieces.
Adhere two pockets to first created pocket, set aside.
Cut out a 6 1/2" x 3 3/4" piece. Score at 3 1/4" and 3 3/4" on the long side. Set aside.
Cut off holes and margins from two or three pieces of lined paper. Cut paper to 6 pieces of 6 1/2" x 3 3/4".
Fold these pieces in half and place them in the piece of scrapbook paper. Note: Outside of this "book" should match outside of box.
Punch three holes through the edge of the book, making sure not to go past the 3 1/4" line.
Insert brads in each hole. Apply glue to the back side on all edges.
Adhere book to bottom portion of box.
Cut out a 2" x 3" piece.
Score this piece at 1/2" on 2 short sides and 1 long side. Trim the corners.
Apply adhesive and adhere to bottom portion of box. (Upside down so contents won't spill when box is folded up)
Cut out a 1 1/2" x 2" piece and wrap around a pen. Apply adhesive for closure and adhere to box under the notebook.
Cut out a 10 1/8" x 6 1/8" piece from the cardstock.
Score this piece at 2" on each side.
Cut off corners. Cut on vertical score lines until matched with horizontal score lines.
Apply adhesive to triangles. Fold inward to create a box. This is the lid.
Cut out 2 pieces of 1 3/4" x 2". Cut out 2 pieces of 6" x 2".
Apply adhesive to these four pieces (on side that doesn't match the outside of box). Adhere to sides of lid.
Cut out 4 pieces of 3" x 6". Fold them in half and place them in the medium pocket.
Place cards and envelopes in large pocket.
Cut out 5 pieces of 1 1/4" x 1 1/2". Pictures are inaccurate. I didn't have the tags when I made this one. This is the main idea.
Adhere these pieces to the paper tags. Picture shown shows my first idea, punching a hole in a piece of paper. Place them in the small pocket.
Punch a piece of card stock. Stamp "friends" or something nice onto it. Apply adhesive and adhere to the address book (notebook).
Apply adhesive to the fake pearl and adhere to fake flower. Adhere the flower to one of the long sides of the lid.
Fold up box and put on lid... Voila!
