Stavroz's Barret M99 50. Cal.

Hello people, This is my new knex sniper rifle.
It's based on the Barrett M99.

Some pro's and con's

Pro's
REAl pseudo bolt action.
New loading system.(at least I think so)
Range up to 60-70 feet.
The realistic looks.

Con's
Single shot.
It uses quite alot pieces

The M99 is a bolt action,

The M95 in the picture is, and the M107 which he based it on ISNT.

 The picture is an M99, yes? I think that it looks more like a hybrid than anything else.

yes the picture is an M99 - a bolt action.

but the M99 is a bulpup gun, and the knex version isnt bulpup, meaning its most likely a M107 (otherwise known as the M82 or the Barrett 50 cal from CoD).

I call any trigger that operates a block trigger a "'less than true"' trigger

although block triggers can handle more force on them. Mind you, ive only made one true trigger gun and it sucked, so i think my opinion is biased.

I know that it might be a seamingly better way of making a trigger (it might be for some guns), but, on the right gun, true triggers can be very simple and easy to build (just look at thedunkis' guns)

Block triggers can handle more stress tho... personally, i like ones with a ratchet sysstem but thats just me...
