Steampunk Tablet Stand Lamp

video Steampunk Tablet Stand Lamp

I was in need of a tablet stand but I didn't want to just go out and buy one, so I made one. I created a Steampunk Tablet Stand...well a little more than just a tablet stand, it is also a lamp. I built the lamp into it so I can also use it as a Steampunk book stand or a Steampunk desk lamp.

Great tablet/book stand, bravo!

While watching your fun video I was thinking... "wouldn't it be easier to pull the wire thru the pipes before soldering", but then I realized the wires would melt during the soldering. However, if it's being made with PVC pipe that would work.

When I build one of these, I'm going to set up the water valve so it turns the light on and off. And perhaps make the width adjustable to fit different size books.

Thanks for your inspiring project!

That's a really awesome stand! Could be handy for standing up textbooks, giving you free space to write down your notes too!

I like to make stuff. Whenever I go out I rarely buy anything because I always think, "I can make that". Here I will show you how I make whatever interests me.
