In this project i steampunked my Sony Discman/Cd-player.
It has somewhat of a wooden style, paint, tubes and some brass with a
working horn on top in the style of an old phonograph.
Looks funny if i may say so...
Greetings, Evin.

Two suggestions: You might want to consider some gold or bronze metallic paint for the black plastic buttons and window frame. (You can pick this up at a hobby store for about two bucks... I used it for my Steampunk socket/switchplate to conceal the plastic sockets and switches).
And for the cable running to the horn, you might consider concealing it in a shoe lace, in the style of old fashioned cables, as I did with my Steampunk USB cable. Keep up the good work;-)
Hope this can help you with it:

Saw the socket and the USB cable, sweet idea!
Thanx for the tips :)
it on-tightening it that way...it's word the try.
Good luck!
I've tryed a old-look (Beige) holled-out shoe lace for the cable but it was too wide for it so, i'll look for a smaller one.
And, bought bronze paint a copple of day's ago :)
Got also some self-made-rust but have to sea if i'll use that on this project.
Time for a new update on the discman.
If it's finished i'll post it again.
Thanx again.
Ev.
Looking forward to he new pics!
