these are easy, with simple household ingredients, without things like gelatin and corn syrup
just be prepared to see them disappear

Step 1: Ingredients

You will need

75g butter

300ml condensed milk
175g white sugar (granulated sugar)
1 tbsp golden syrup
1 tsp vanilla essence

your also going to need

a medium saucepan
a spatula or wooden spoon
various measuring cups
a brownie or shortbread tin
Nice to see familiar ingredients :D <br> <br>colour doesn't matter if you dip them in chocolate and make some cobbers :D

What's golden syrup?
Your US equivalent is corn syrup. It's sugar-syrup from non-corn sugar refining.<br> <br> L

I've never seen white caramels before, but they sound delicious!
its a bit like honey or maple syrup, but as i noted i live on the east coast of Australia (G'day! LOL) and depending on where you live you might not be able to find it<br><br>perhaps maple syrup, or corn syrup will work as a substitute?
