Introduction: Stitched Brim Hat

Picture of Stitched Brim Hat

Crochet wool men's hat which has been felted and the brim hand slip stitched using a wool/tapestry needle.  Made using 100% recycled wool.

I made it using a design by Jerry Catt:

The differences I made were to make the design bigger then felt it just using warm water, then sticking it in the tumble dryer until it is at the correct size and then left to dry on a towel. I also changed colours to make stripes and the stitched the brim up as I wanted to practice my sewing skills :)

Very cute! Do you remember the names of the colors you used?

Hi, I used Rowan Purelife Renew recycled wool in Lorry 687 and Trailer 681 colours.

Very cool! You should enter this into the Holiday Gifts Contest!
