Ambrosia Ingredients and preparation:
- 1- 8 oz. Tub of Cool Whip- defrosted in refrigerator
- 1 cup fresh Strawberries- sliced
- 1- 15 oz can of Fruit Cocktail- drained
- 1- 11 oz can Mandarin Oranges- drained
- 1- cup shredded Coconut
- 1/2 c Mini Marshmallows
- a pinch of Ground Nutmeg
- a pinch of Cinnamon
Ambrosia Topping (Chocolate is optional):
- 1/2 cup fresh Strawberries- sliced
- Mini Chocolate Chips
- Chocolate Syrup
- Store-bought Corn Tortilla Chips
- Canola Oil Spray (Aerosol)
- 1/4 cup Sugar mixed with 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
TO BUILD YOUR STRAWBERRY AMBROSIA NACHOS:
Put a layer of Cinnamon chips in a bowl or on a plate. Spoon generous scoops of Ambrosia on top of the chips. Encircle the Ambrosia with additional chips. Sprinkle with the fresh sliced Strawberries... (add chocolate... YUM!... if you dare!) and serve.












































I'd recommend using flour tortillas, covered in cinnamon+sugar+butter spread, then baked to a crisp... flour is healthier (and IMO better tasting) than corn!
You are absolutely right... and I've made them before. I just didn't have flour tortillas when I created this Instructable.
