Introduction: Stubbs the Zombie

This character is based on a video game by Aspyr Video Games. First I start with a bit of Sculpy polymer clay. Great stuff to create with. In this case I used black so I would notr have to do a shading undercoat for final product.

Step 1:

I begin to shape the face; making eye holes where the eyes will go.

Step 2:

Shaping of the mouth and nose. Very basic stuff here...

Step 3:

Added the Hat; still shaping...

Step 4:

More shaping. The hat needed to be enlarged a bit.

Step 5:

Side shot.

Step 6:

Time to insert eyeballs...

Step 7:

Sideshot...

Step 8:

Added neck, shoulders and ears. More facial definition.

Step 9:

View from above.

Step 10:

Side view... still more shaping.

Step 11:

Added cigarette and pupils to mix... and still more definition. Held over lamp to illuminate.

Adding Hair, shaping hat and face... still defining features...

Adding shirt collar, coat and details... more details...

Step 16:

Finished collar... added frayed coat sleeves... 

Step 17:

Cigarette was baked to prevent it from bending. The end coincidentally charred a bit.

First paint. A bit hokey; need to add shadows.

Step 20:

Getting there now... just a few more details...

Step 21:

Final glaze comming up... just had to add some fresh kill blood on this one...

Here we go; mkin im' shiney.

Voila... Zombie on a platter.
