Stun Darts

Stun darts are easy to make. They are made to be used with a PVC blowgun, but can be used in an air-gun. They only require paper, scissors, tape, a blowgun (if you want to shoot it), and a paper clip or other wire (clothes-hanger wire works well.) 

Step 1 Making the Dart

Take some paper and cut it into a small rectangle. Roll that up into a cone and tape it down, so it remains rolled up. Take the paper clip and fold one side over a couple times. Then, cut the paper cone's tip off. Be careful not to cut too much off, just cut off enough to slide the straightened paper clip through until the folded part gets caught.

Nice! I like how you maintain the streamlined dart shape, but with a not-penetrating tip that still has a lot of punch.

thanks. it is safer than my previously used stun darts. They were a paper cone with a nail sticking in them backward, so the head of the nail was was the impact point. Thats what my friend got shot in the face with.

I made something like this by making a paper cone, then dropping a lead sinker in the tip and gluing it is place. Those are deadly strong, I killed a few birds with them.

i shot a rabbit with a nail dart (pointy side out) and my neighbor found "it" dead the next day. A week later, the rabbit was seen again, with the dart in its neck.

PLEASE be careful. These can hurt people, and with minor modification, can stick in walls (and people.) Do not shoot at anybody EVER. (that includes you, Higgs)
