Step 2Settle in and Start
Now that you have all your supplies sit down and get comfortable. If you're using the garland and safety pins as in the original, begin at the top collar on one side and place the garland as shown in the attach diagrams.
For those using garland
The torso, sleeves, and hood are done separately
Place the garland following the Arrows and then use the safety pins as direct to close around the metal wire center of the garland. Make sure to catch 2 wires at a time for both security and a full look, around the bottom group lines 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 together for pinning.
For those of you using "fur".
The Chest, bottom, sleeves, and hood are done seperately
Place the "fur" facedown as shown in the diagram, with the majority of the "fur" hanging between the zippers, sew straight down from the collar. Stop at the bottom. Fold the "fur" over itself, and using thread the same color as the "fur" sew down the chest.
Measure the Bottom of the hoodie from zipper on one side around the back to opposite zipper, add about 2 inches to determine the amount of "fur" needed for the bottom. On the Bottom sew the "fur" in a similar fashion except this time place the "fur" face down with the bottom edge, edge closest to the bottom hem, where you want the top of the fur to be when the hoodie is complete. Sew in place, fold the "fur" over itself, and wrap underneath the bottom of the hoodie, using the same color thread as before sew both sides. Ultimately sandwiching the bottom of the hoodie between the folded over "fur"
