Submarine Candle Holder

This is a tea light candle holder that is inspired by the submarine from the Battleship game. The submarine was my favorite piece in the game. Sure, it had the same number of holes as the cruiser and wasn't as frustrating as the destroyer, but it could go under water!

OK, fine, that had no tactical advantage in the game. I still liked it and I'm sticking with that.

So now, years later, I have found myself with hundreds of tea lights in my house and in need of a holder.  So of course it had to be a custom job and here we are. Maybe one day I'll make the complete set.

Step 1: Parts

Here are the supplies and tools I used to make these:

 - 1/4" plywood
 - Elmer's Carpenter's Wood Glue
 - stain
 - sandpaper
 - Epilog laser cutter (or saws and hole saws)

As a candle holder it's kinda meh. As one piece of a giant board game where you get to snuff out your opponent's battleships pieces.... awesome!

I think I peaked with Tetris on the original B&W Game Boy...
