Sugar Bread

This is the perfect recipe for a weekend Breakfast or Dessert treat. Similar to a doughnut, it is so good, you'll never go back! Our cousins invited us over to sleep over during the winter, and it was a great snack! Now, we want you to enjoy this delicious recipe also!

Note: Any fan of doughnuts is sure to love this!

Step 1 Preperations:

What you need:

An oven heated at 375 degrees.

Bread:
-1 1/2 cup of Bisquick
-1/2 cup of Milk or Water.
-1/2 cup of sugar.
-2 tablespoons of Butter, Margin, or Shortening.
-1 egg.
-1 teaspoon of Vanilla.

Brown Sugar Icing:
-2 tablespoons of Milk.
-1/2 cup of Brown Sugar.
-1 tablespoon of Butter.

*Note: There is Substitutes listed. Only use one of the listed ingredients.

One cup of Bisquick can be substituted by a mix of
one cup of flour,
1½ teaspoons of baking powder,
½ teaspoon of salt, and 1
tablespoon of oil or melted butter.

Does it bake in a large bread pan as shown or is it a different sized pan? I was thinking of giving it a try. When I do, I'll take photos and you can choose to use them if you'd like.

It can be baked in anything. Including a casserole dish.
