Introduction: Sun Dried Crispy Semolina Snacks

-These crispy semolina snacks are sundried and then fried.These are perfect to prepare during summer and are very tasty.

- We can prepare them in large quantities and store in air tight container and we can fry them when needed

-These can be eaten as it is or can be accompained with rice.

Ingredients

-Half cup semolina

-Few cumin seeds

- Tsp of Red chilli powder

-salt as per taste

-4 cups of water

Step 1: BOIL WATER

-Take a large vessel and add 4 cups of water to it

Step 2: ADD SPICES

-Add salt as per taste, few cumin seeds,tsp red chilli powder to water and bring to boil

Step 3: ADD SEMOLINA

-when water boils add half cup semolina and slowly mix for some time.

Step 4: KEEP MIXING

-Keep mixing in intervals,semolina absorbs water and starts thickening.
-Consistency should not be too thick or too liquidy.it should be little flowy type.

Step 5: SPREAD POLYTHENE SHEET

-Spread polythene sheet in your balcony or lawn where their is plenty of sun.

-Take the prepared semolina batter and spread as small rounds using spoon on polythene sheet.

- Important point is batter should be little hot while spreading because if it cools it thickenes totally. we need to spread when it is hot.

Step 6: SUN DRY FOR 3 DAYS

-We need to sun dry them for 3 days .when they are dried completely you can easily loosen them.

-You can prepare in large quantities and store in airtight container

Step 7: Fry in Oil

-Take the sundried vadiyams and fry in oil.Enjoy crispy semolina snacks with rice .
