Super Simple Joke land mine

This is a very simple prank that has a nice pop when steped on and is reloadable.
Oh and this is only my second intructable so merry christmas

Step 1: What you need

you need,

1.string bomb/cracker.(fairly cheap and similar to confetti popers, got mine from cannonfuse.com at 69cents for 36)

2.metal wire coat hanger.(plastic ones will not work, plastic coated metal might work)

3.wire cutters

prety much parades, and pennslyvania, everywhere they have fireworks they are very very cheap (like 25 cents for like a box of 20 or so)

I made it. works nicely. One recommendation would be to add maybe copperwire to the top of the hanger where the grooves are. (wrap it around the hanger) so the it doesn't slip as easily.

U guys DO know that the vid with the big flame is totally unrelated right? BTW these are GREAT for tying one end to a small object (medium sized plastic pearl) and taping that end to a doorframe and tying other end to doorknob (easy in europe we´ve got lever like knobs...) and wait... BANG! SCREAM! possible wailing due to minor burns due to idiotic way of opening door... DU`H (openning sligtly wrapping hand around door grabbing string then openning door...)

Yes they are, along with Piranhas but both can be bought next door (NH) provided you can get them back in, I would reccomend using 202 instead of 95, less tolls, less cops, everyones happier.

it is true that this isn't very stealthy, and it could get you fired. But except in a few places, firecrackers aren't illegal, except in a few states like New York, and maybe a few countries in Europe. Also, those aren't real firecrackers, those are more like cap gun rounds then anything. And from experience, this won't catch anything on fire, though thats not a guaranty.

It wont catch anything on fire because it is just a small party popper charge, it isn't capable of putting out enough heat for anything to catch fire

Ever unrap Snappers or throw fire works that are not lit into a papper napkin? A whole box worth is a bigger bang. Twist the napkin tight so the stuff is nice and cozy.
