Introduction: Supreme Pizza Spaghetti

About: Please contact me if you'd like to commission a piece! I enjoy making a wide range of things--whatever strikes my fancy. My most successful creations end up being in the paper crafting realms.

This sure-to-please dish combines the divine taste of supreme pizza toppings with the everyday enjoyment of spaghetti noodles. If pepperoni or meatlovers pizza is more your style, you can easily omit the veggies. Or if there are veggies you enjoy that I missed, throw those in, as well!

As written, this recipe services approximately 5-7 people.

Step 1: Ingredients

1 pound hamburger
1 13.25 box spaghetti noodles
1 15-16 ounce can or jar of pizza sauce
12 ounces plain spaghetti/marinara sauce (approximately half a standard 24 ounce jar)
1 3.5 ounce package of pepperoni slices (approximately 50 slices)
1 tablespoon minced garlic (optional)
approximately half a small (2.25 ounce) can of sliced olives (optional)
about one quarter of a large bell pepper, diced (optional)
about one quarter of a small onion, diced (optional)
shredded mozzarella cheese, to taste
Parmesan cheese, to taste

Not pictured:
several mushroom slices, diced (optional)
Much to my dismay, I forgot to add mushrooms on this particular night. They are highly recommended, however!

Step 2: Food Prep

Quarter the pepperoni slices. Add to a medium saucepan.

Brown and drain the hamburger. Add to your saucepan.

Saute the onions until translucent or caramelized, as you enjoy.

Add the other veggies and saute until they begin to soften.

Cook the spaghetti noodles according to the directions on the box.

Step 3: Mix and Simmer the Sauce

Add all of your remaining ingredients, except for the pasta, to your saucepan. Mix thoroughly. Simmer over medium heat, covered, for approximately ten minutes, or until the sauce is thoroughly heated.

Step 4: Serve, Top With Cheese, and Enjoy

Portion out the cooked pasta. Spoon some warmed sauce onto the pasta. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan to taste. Enjoy!
