Swaptree: A Guide

Step 4Receiving items!

Receiving items!
Now that you're done with the tedious part, go to your want list, click on the drop down menu and select 'view only get now items'. Click 'GET NOW!' on an item you want, we'll use a book in this example, and go to the next page.

You might be presented with more than one copy of the same item. Click on the one in the best condition possible. The order for conditions is as follows:

brand new
like new
very good
good
acceptable

Also, if you are getting a book, make sure it is the binding type you want, either hardcover or softcover. Take a look at the user's comments on the item, sometimes they state things such as minimal damages, smoking/non-smoking home, missing instructions, etc. If you are not satisfied with the condition, you can always wait for another copy of the item to show up. Swaptree does this automatically.
If you want to swap, click 'get this copy' on the right side of the page.
