Swaptree: A Guide

Step 5Completing trade

Completing trade
Once you click 'get this copy', you will have to reenter your password and check the "I accept" boxes. Then you wait for the other user(s) to accept the trade. They have about 2-3 days to do so. If they reject it, it's probably because they are not satisfied with either the condition of your item or the condition of someone else's item they are receiving. They also could've just run out of time.

If your trade is completed, you will have the option of using swaptree's postage, or using your own. With swaptree's, you don't have to go to the post office, other users can track your item, and it generally arrives faster. If you use your own postage, you don't have to give swaptree your credit card number, and the cost is generally lower. I have always used my own postage.

You will print out the addresss/mailing label on the next page. Select a good sized mailing envelope for your itiem. Add some bubble wrap to keep it safe from damage. If it's a CD, DVD, or video game, make sure the CD is securely locked in the case. You might want to take extra measures with fragile CDs.
