Introduction: Sweet Tomato Jam
This is how to make the easiest tastiest 'fancy ketchup' you'll ever have!!!
Step 1: Start With 5lbs of Tomatoes
Start with 5lbs of tomatoes. NO peeling or seeding required! Just throw em in a blender or food processor until they are the consistency of runny salsa.
Step 2: Add Ingredients Into Pot on the Stove
You'll need to add the tomatoes, 3.5 cups of sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp ground cloves, 8 tbsp lime juice and 1 tbsp salt. Simmer / boil down for approx 2-3 hours on the stove until it has the consistency of jam.
Step 3: Fill Your Jars!
I used the small 125 ml jars. Fill them up and place in canner for 20 min.
Step 4: Ta Da!!
That's it! Your tomato jam is done! I love mine as a dip for grilled cheese sandwiches, topping for meatloaf, topping for crackers, anything! It's like fancy ketchup!

I tried Venessa's jam with halibut, it was incrediable taste, added life to the fish, if you need a lift for something, this jam is a great alternative!
You haven't included the quantities for the ingredients going into the pan.
