Introduction: Sweet and Sour Pork

Ever wanted to eat some genuine chinese food?
Here's a simple recipe that takes about 1-2 hours but that is really tasty...
(times depends by your cooking skill).

Step 1: Things That You Need...

Ingredient for six people:

450gr pork meat
1 egg
potato starch or corn flour
3 little leeks
4 little peppers(long about 10 cm)
half a tin of natural pineapple
white wine
frying oil
soy sauce
Worcestershire sauce
tomato ketchup
1 red chilli or chilli powder
One clove of garlic
vinegar

Step 2: Let's Begin...

Begin to slash the meat, you should make some cubes of about
1,5-2 cm.

Step 3: Peppers

Do the same thing with the peppers...

Step 4:

Mince the garlic & chop the leek (or simil-leek(onions))...

Step 5: Pineapple's Time...

If you've found the "natural pineapples tin" simply open it & cut the washers-like pineapple's slice, else proceed like in my pics...

Step 6: Sweet & Sour Sauce

Simply mix this ingredients:
1/2 glass of vinegar
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
4,5 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
2 tablespoons of Worcester sauce
1/2 teaspoon of salt


mix apart two tablespoons of corn flour in a double quantity of water & put it in a glass..

Step 7: Begin to Cooking at Last..

Beat an egg & put the meat in it...
add 2 tablespoon of corn flour..
then fry it in a large frying pan...

Step 8: Continue Frying..

Fry the meat & put it in a bowl..
In an other pan, fry the garlic, then ad the leek for about a minute, then add the peppers.
Mix with a wooden spoon for 5-6 minutes,then add the chilli,
the pineapple & the meat.
At last add some wine.

Step 9: Almost Finished..

When the wine is evaporated, add the sweet&sour; sauce
then mix for about a minute,add the corn flour prepared before & let it rest for 30 sec...

YOU'VE FINISHED....THE EASIEST DISH ON THE EARTH..

I know it sounds a little strange, but it's quite common: take a leek, and put it in your sweet and sour pork. (Dom DeLuise, anyone? Am I dating myself just a tad?) On a more serious note, nice job! It looks very tasty. And sometimes the goggles are just the thing you need for the onion battles. When you say "corn flour", I presume the use is as a thickener? One could probably use corn starch, too (maybe exactly the same thing?). Yet it also look as though you are using the corn flour as a kind of breading with the pork. Ever tried this with All-Purpose Flour (bleached wheat flour)?
