Buy one of the keychain video recorders (2 buttons, rechargeable battery). Take it apart, mine had 4 screws (2 outside, 2 inside).

Clip the battery wires.

Glue an L shaped piece of plastic or a coated wire to the board, and to the back of the camera to stabilize the camera.

Open your helicopter up, and clip its battery wires.

Carefully spice (twist and tape, or solder and tape) the wires, 3 reds together, 3 blacks together to form a parallel circuit.

Put the helicopter back together.

Sling the camera board under the helicopter using a rubber band.

Hi, i would like to reuse the syma reciever board , but i don't know where i must connect channel 1, 2,3... Can someone explain it to me or is there any website about it?
Very cool idea. I have a full sized chopper 20", so this would fit comfortably inside of the cockpit. Could you tell me where you found the camera?
I got mine from Fry's. If you get one online make sure you get the 720 version, there are a lot of crappy knock offs out there.
would it be possible to send the video to a recvier remotely? i have a full sized quadro copter and would love to be able to mount that to it but send it wirelessly to a vedio monitor .
Do a web search for FPV. It stands for First Person View. If you've got a full size quad you don't need one of these. You can get a small cam with video out and then run it to a transmitter. You can also look at an OSD (on screen display) which connects in between the cam and transmitter. The OSD collects information like GPS, Battery level, motor temp, altitude, etc and overlays the information on your video feed. So then you can use video goggles, or a tv to view the feed while you fly. It's very easy to fly like your a pilot inside the model this way. Check out Eagle Tree Systems. I won't say they are the best, but it's what I use and I like it. But look around, there are a couple I'd like to try.
Good luck!
