WOW!!! I am in LOVE!!! I wonder if you could somehow add glitter to this... if so? OMG, LOVE!!! I'm imagining black-light reflective nail polishes and/or paints splattered onto the fabric to add character! (Because clearly, there's not enough character already!! *laughs*)

luckily they are everywhere! To help train my eye I found a little black light flashlight, or you could just get a black light LED and a coin battery. Carry it with you on your resource expeditions. This is how I found the surveyor's string, flagging tape, rip-stop nylon and so many other options.
