Here's a pic supplied by the manufacturers. Mmm - how lovely. The lucky owner of this roof space hasn't got single joint to make.

I hope your loft is the same. Mine wasn't. Grrrrr.

I had loads of tricksy truss members to work round.

Never mind: start at one end and keep going till you get to the other. There's no rush. After all, you've got until next winter....

Me thinks that 1 roll 1m x 10m at £160 is way to pricey, even for a small loft!

Sorry, I'm saying its too pricey for a lot of people like me, who live in Council accomodation, who need help reducing heating costs now. I also mean that £160 for a roll, could be spend else where in this so called "Credit Crunch". Having said that, I expect its good stuff and does a good job, and will pay for itself eventualy, but what about now? I don't think a Government Grant will help pay for it, or a Bank loan. So whats needed is an alternative, that everyone can afford to do. 90 odd percent of us should already have loft insulation to a thickness of 10 centimetres is it? How about an instructable that would help improve on what we already have. I don't want to go a spend on some high tech stuff. I'm already struggling with £400 combined electricity and gas debt, plus what I pay for everyday. I've done all that USwitch to change Tariff, and with the age of my Double Glazing, most of my heat goes out of the window anyway. Its okay a night with the curtains shut, but in the day its bloody freezing, still want it to snow though:)

Thanks LDW, didn't want you to think I offended you. As for Bournemouth Housing, Sandbanks maybe an awsome place to live, but if you visit, ask after West Howe, where I live. Draught exclusion helps.... Regards, Mike
