If you tried my previous tutorial on How to Make a Chima Party Hat, then you will find this tutorial a super easy and fun project to work with your child.

Supplies:
small white paper plates
paint (light blue)
foam brushes
paint container
ribbon
hot glue gun
hot glue sticks
scissors
box cutter

Step 1: Paint Front of White Paper Plates.

You can ask your child(ren) to help out with this task. Even though LEGO chi is typically light blue, I asked my little one to paint it yellow/gold and red. I believe there is a golden chi, which explains the yellow. I thought red would be nice to add a little different color.

Step 2: After the Paint Dries, Cut Two Small Slits at the Top of the Plates With a Box Cutter.

Step 3: Measure and Cut Length of Ribbon to Fit Chi Necklace Over Your Child’s Head.

Remember to add a little length to other pieces of ribbon if some of the other children are taller/bigger than your child.

Step 4: Hot Glue Ribbon to Back of the Plate.

Step 5: Provide Embellishments for Child to Add a Lion Insignia or Another Other Design the Child Chooses to Their Chi Necklaces.

Step 6: Voila! Project Complete!
