Table Top Catapult Game by blackcat2
finished without accessories.jpg

In this instructable I made a simple and fun little game that you can put anywhere, especially on a "table top." It requires you to simply place a ping pong ball on the catapult, push down, and see if goes into a cup. It can also be done by catapulting the ping pong ball onto the board and allowing it to bounce into the cups.

Oh, and just a heads up, sorry about the quality of the photos, I should be getting a nice camera soon however.

Also, as for a Craftsman tool i've been hoping to get, here's a link; (it's for a solder gun, no more old normal soldering!)

The things you will need are:

- A flexible ruler
- A couple screws
- A bottle cap (from a soda or water bottle)
- Some tape (duct tape is good)
- A cork
- Scissors
- Screwdriver with some drill bits
- A 56 centimeter (L) by 26 centimeter (W) by 2 centimeter (H) piece of wood (these don't have to be exact at all, these are just what I used)
- A 17.5 centimeter (L) by 6 centimeter (W) by 1.8 centimeter (H) piece of wood (^ same as the above message in parentheses ^)
- 4 plastic cups
- A ping pong ball
- Some plain stickers (those with nothing on them and that you can write on)
- A marker (I used a black marker)
- Pliers
- A napkin

If you put a sponge on the bottom of the cups the ball will not jump out. Nice game. I make some more cups. Works fine. Thank you.

Pretty cool. It seems like adjusting the angle of the wooden block would give you more distance. You weren't going very far in the video.

Good job. Creative catapult design.

thanks and good idea;
I could try screwing on the block of wood through only one screw right in the center so that i can rotate it and also find a way to adjust the angles by possibly making a way to bend the block of wood forward or backwards (backwards for height and distance).
