Introduction: Taser Glove :D

Step 1: Materials:

You will need:

An old glove, and the circuit from the picture.

You can get that circuit from an old disposable camera.I have found lots of them at yard sales for prices variating between 1$-4$.

Step 2: Checking the Components....

Now you should check the transformer and the capacitor by installing the batteries and activating the circuit (it is a good idea to install a switch at the positive terminal of the batteries so you can activate the circuit when you want).

Connect the leads of your multimeter and wait for it to charge or untill it reaches 200 volts. If you used 1.2 volt batteries it should work fine.

BTW if you use this taser at 300V you will cause skin burns, it is good for self defence. :}

Step 3: Construction

Now you connect the wires from the metal bars of the glove to the leads of the capacitor, like in the picture.

Step 4: Now You Have a Taser-glove :DDD

All you need to do now is to mask the components however you want, i have used some black electric tape in the past but now i didn't have any so i could not mask it for you... Sorry !

As far as voltage goes, the voltage isn't dangerous. In fact the amperage is the real danger. This uses an armstrong resonator to increase the voltage. As such the amperage is very small and mostly harmless (even if somewhat painful). Disposable cameras operate at voltages under 400 volts and the capacitor is likely rated for only 200 microfarads. This will give you about 320 watts of discharge power over a 10th of a second. This much current will mostly travel over your skin to ground and not be a serious danger to your heart. However, it will make your nerves tingle for awhile.

I wouldn't use just the leather of the glove as an insulator between me and several hundred volts spikes..being determined to step up against a bully is all-right, but stuttering like the scatman while doing it will take away a little from what you're trying to do..
