Step 3: Shaping

You can generally make this into whatever shape you want, just make sure it isn't vertical and the jump isn't too sharp. You want a slightly curved drop and a curved part at the bottom to a jump! the ramp will need to be supported by the pieces you cut off earlier. Take one of them and tape it under the jump part at whatever angle you want it to be. If your parents allow it you can tape it straight to the ground with the duct tape, this will work better but IT WILL LEAVE THE GROUND STICKY. Otherwise you can take the paper you have and tape it to the ground with scotch tape and tape the ramp support to that. The picture for this step has the perfect shape so look at that for help.
How would you use a ramp with a tiny board?
You drop in like on a real skateboard.
really? so that what you do with tech deck ramp skating?! Kind of boring isn't it? No offense
good one men
Wicked. I've made this my snowboards in like 2 minutes and it works like a charm!
hey alot of people say im bad at tech decking = ( am i good or bad?check out this vid<div style="margin-left:15px;"> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Lc9jNL7DruM"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Lc9jNL7DruM" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" wmode="transparent"></embed></object></div><br/>
not bad &quot;clap clap&quot;
ur not bad
Your not that bad but your tricks are very sketchy just practice<br />
I am a lot worse than you. I build the stuff, but I just cannot ride it well...
what is a tech deck?
dude i remember a while ago, i made a mega ramp from cardboard, it had a frame made from knex tho, that was hella.
pm me if im good = )<br/>
ok u r good .........how do u heelflip??its hard when i alredy know how to kickflip
no offence bur ures needs a bit of improvement
i made one before i saw this instructable out of plywood, and it was as long as my room (including landing ramp!), no offense, but mine was a t-rex compare to yours
this thing is tight thnx
no problem. Ideas for tech deck ramps are greatly appreciated!
you are way better than me
if you want an even better surface u should take the cereal box carboard and that is seriously smooth
if you try to bend the cardboard from a cereal box it will just make a few huge creases. Also, it is too thin.
no i mean to use it as a surface...like on top of the normal cardboard and yes there will be some creases but a lot less than the normal cardboard
a bit bumpy isn't it? it would make the skate board fly right off.
the tape covers all of the bumps and makes it much more flat.
hot glue a piece of cardstock over the creases and it will be smoother and go much much faster
well I see some massive creases
That was the first time i did it. I have done it again since then. The problem with the first one is i put the tape on before i bent it so the tape took the shape of it. If you put the tape on after you bend it than there should not be any creases.
ok yeah I saw your other one and it looked fine.
good job though
haha nice
