Tennis Ball Roman Candle

Hey this a first. soz bout no pics but will make more with pics.

this instructable is going to teach you how to make a really successful, cheap legal roman candle using everyday ingredients.

Step 1: Ingredients

You will need:

about 30 sparklers, (can buy from local supermarket)
matches. (used as extra charge, the more the better)
tennis ball
pliers.
knife/blade
funnel

Step 2: 1st Step Building

Ok, this step is probably the most boring but it truely is worth it. here, we have to get all the sparkler compound off the wire. this can be done by either bending the wire alot and the sparkler will fall off or you can use the pliers.
NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE AT LEAST ONE SPARKLER BEHIND TO USE AS A FUSE.
Next we have to do the same with the match heads. i would recoment using the pliers to get them off. to do this, just crush the top of the match head and collect.

Step 3: Loading the Ball

now we come to putting the sparklers and match heads into the ball. firstly, got your razor and cut a small hole in the tennis ball. it doesnt have to be perfectly round.

now get a funnel and pour both the match heads and the sparklers into the tennis ball, filling it up to the top.

NOTE: THE SMALLER THE HOLE, THE LARGER THE PROPULSION ALTHOUGH IF THE HOLE IS TOO SMALL THEN THERE MIGHT NOT BE ENOUGH OXYGEN TO IGNIGHT. recomendation: a bit smaller than a penny/5 cent piece.

Step 4: IGNITION!!!

now its time for the best part, IGNITION!

to ignight, place a fuse (i recoment a sparkler) into the hole. have the hole facing upwards. light the fuse and step back to about 3-5m away. watch as the firework sets off. (this works the best at night)
