Tenon & Kerfing Saw Depth Stop Jig

video Tenon & Kerfing Saw Depth Stop Jig
This jig can be used to do repeat cuts to a curtain depth by hand.  It could be useful for kerfing or to cut tenons.  I began by drawings a right angle from the saw edge, measured, punched and drilled for holes and using a multi tool cut two slots.  I cut a complementing piece of hard wood which and drill two holes at equal distance from the edge of the wood which would be closes to the saw teeth.  I put two carriage bolts through the wood and tighten them to the saw using wing knobs.

Great and simple idea. You just saved me an hour's work. That definitely warrants a "favorite!" Thanks for posting it!
Simple, but very smart!

Good idea.

I think you could do the same tool without drill the saw blade. Some of them are harder than this.
