Step 1: Brainstorm, Maquette Making, Testing

The thoughts we started out our brainstorming considering were: kites, flying, tensegrity, projectiles.

After a brief discussion about tensegrity, we decided a maquette was necessary. A simple, three compression member, tensegrity structure was fabricated out of wooden dowels and rubber bands.
