Texas Instruments Blue Screen Virus

This virus causes the srceen to turn blue by overloading the power.

Legal Disclaimer: This virus can ruin a screen of the calculator. Do NOT leave on for more than 1 minute. Make sure you do not put it on public property, such as your school's calculator, without removing the entire virus before leaving.

Also, this is my first Instructable, don't go too hard on me.

Step 1Programming

Ok, first off I will tell you that this only works on the TI-83 Plus and all calculators with little numbers greater than it, like 84 or 89. Also when you remove the virus (by removing a baterry or two) it clears your RAM so archive anything that shouldn't go bye-bye.

Step 1: Go to the program by pressing PRGM then pressing the right arrow key twice, and hitting ENTER.
Step 2: Type in the name you want to give it. I usually pick BLUSCRN.
Step 3: This is the first line (duh) of the program.
All you have to do is hit 2nd then 0, which will take you to the command catalog. Scroll dawn until you see "AsmPrgm" and hit ENTER.
Step 4: This is the second programming line. There is the nuber 0 after the C, just so you know.

Step 5: Now you can quit the program editor. To execute the program, you have to put "Asm(" before the program itself. It is right before "AsmPrgm" in the command catalog. Hit ENTER then find your program in the program list and hit ENTER again. If your virus's name is the same as mine, the script on the main screen should look like "Asm(prgmBLUSCRN".
Now just hit ENTER and debate with various people what the name of this specific shade of blue is.

Just a quick reminder: don't leave the program on too long and take out the batteries to stop it.
