Camera is a useful tool , in this Instructable i wanna share some alternate uses of your camera , hope you find them useful, and you can add more uses if u know or wanna share :)

Step 1: Backup Your Old Photographs !

Old photographs are your heritage ! why not make a backup of them ?
printed old Photographs turn yellow with time and at times get lost or gut fungus... common ! anything can happen to them , so be prepared with a backup !
just place a tripod and place the photographs on a plane surface , and start ! Click photographs of the photographs !

Step 2: Copy a Sign Board !

This helps alot ! While passing signboards that have contact details or other information, it is alwars worthwhile to capture a photo.
You can also capture photos of shopping lists , memos, and to-do lists as well .

Step 3: It Can Help Sharing Notes :p

Tired of copying notes from other's notebooks ? or too tired to note down the notes teacher gave on the board ? Just take a picture and your problem is solved :D believe me , it helps a lot .

Step 4: Save Paper, Save Earth

You can just click a picture insted of taking a printout from the screen . It saves paper.
theres one tutorial out there if anyone have problem taking pictures from LCD screen

so each time you are clicking a photograph , insted of taking a printout, you are going Greener :)

Step 5: Finding Your Way in Dark

There will be times when you will be walking in lanes and climbing staircases where you cannot see what lies in front of you . Instead of carrying a separate torch ,you could use your camera instead! The AF-assist lamp is a strong light that can ensure that you do not bump into things or trip over sleeping animals. Alternatively , you can fire your camera's flash gun.

Step 6: As Your Phone Dies Out

If your phone's battery is running out and you need to make a call,Insted of being stranded without knowing someone's phone number , just take a picture of the phone's screen with the number on it!

Step 7: Prevent Getting Cheated in Monopoly When You Take a Break :p

Step 8: Some Other Things You Can Do

--> Tease your friends with the flash gun! :p
--> check how you look: Put the camera at arm's length and shoot yourself :p
-->Mark the parked car: click a refrence near your car.
