Introduction: The 9 Millimeter Machine Pistol (MP)

About: theres nothing to tell you about me

I am not responsible for the actions you take when makeing this.

How to build a 9 millimeter machine pistol from house hold materials.
What made me start this project was that i was originally looking for a .45 thompson blueprint and i ran into this little design. It uses a blow back system just like the originaly .45 only a smaller caliber and i think it looks like the thompson alot, minus a few things but it pretty much stayed to the same design.Just so I can't get in trouble I am going to tell you that most of these images are from the book i got the plans from. The author of the book was P.A. Luty.

Step 1: Materials

I am now going to tell you what materials you will need.

Tubing

Upper receiver 40x40x2.5 mm
Lower receiver 25.40x25.40x2.5 mm
Magazine well 40x20x2 mm
Magazine 34.93x15.88 mm
Trigger Group receiver 20x20x2 mm
Barrel 15.0x3.0 mm

Spring Steel

Magazine Catch 7/16"x18 Gauge Spring Steel
Main Spring 20 Gauge Spring Wire

Flat Bar

Trigger Guard 5/8x1/8" Flat Bar

Tool Steel

Sear 3/8" Plate
Trigger 1/4" Plate

Round Bar

Bolt 35 mm Diameter

How to obtain them
Starting from bottom to top

The bolt you can make yourself. Go to any junkyard and look for a good automobile axle. most of your parts that are round like this you can use the axle for so get a few of them.

The Trigger you can use a piece of sheet metal. Preferable rather thick. You should use a hardened steel, but you could use aluminum sheet metal and bend a trigger with that, but I think that would be to much work.

The Sear can be made from an Alan wrench( for those who don't know what the is is the tool that is shaped like an L that has a star like shape sort of on each end).Just cut it up smaller to be able to fit, you also might want to drill a couple holes on each end.

Trigger Guard can be made of some sheet metal. you just need to bend it to fit between the grip and the upper receiver.

The main spring your best bet is to just buy. It is really hard to manufacture your own spring. I'm not saying it can't be done but it is hard. You might look at a hardware store or again you might be able to find one at a salvage yard.

The magazine catch might as well be bought there too. its pretty much a good inch think piece of spring steel as well but its a flat bar instead of a round bar spring. This as well can be manufactured at home, but again is rather hard.

The barrel I'm not quite sure what you could use. It's most likely easyier to buy some barrel blanks you could also look into some old barrels that might be good for the job, but I'm not so sure on this one.

The trigger group reciever( basicly the lower receiver) can be make out of some some square tubeing. Same goes for the upper receiver.

Step 2: Start of Manufacter

For more on the production of this I will give you the .pdf to read. It'll be alot more easier for all of use this way. I Hope you enjoy it.
