The Begenning of A (hopeless) Lap Steel

This is the begenning of a lap steel guitar that I am trying to build. I have only put a couple of hours into it so far. I will post pics of the finished product when I am done. It is made of a 2x4 and some plywood, along with some crappy tuners (recycled from my old baritone ukulele), some copper tube, and an old piece of metal. Its overall scale length is about 2 inches longer than that of my tele or starcaster. Like I said, I will post a follow up of how it turned out.
