i can't wait to eat them

Did you sneak into my recipe box??
These are almost exactly like my Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies....except i use sea salt and enjoy life chocolate chips...but I agree the best Chocolate Chip cookies Ever.
Lovely! I think it's a great idea to put the extra chocolate chips on top right before baking. Makes them look so professional!
Thanks. It really makes a difference in appearance.
this is very similar to a recipe I got from a pbs cooking show, only they browned the melted butter for about 2-3 minutes before adding it to the sugar. When I tried their recipe the browned butter gave a slightly nutty flavor to the cookies which I thought were great, you should give that a try and see if you like it
I will have to try it with browned butter, if it adds a nutty flavor that is something that really works for those with nut allergies :)
Are you sure it should be 1 tablespoon vanilla?
That seems like a lot.
It is 1 tablespoon vanilla extract and is not overpowering at all. The taste is great!
