Our neighbor's son was having a Phineas and Ferb themed Birthday and we wanted to bake something for the occasion. Knowing that our Perry The Platypus cake would most likely look like frosted green meatloaf with marshmallow eyes, we came up with the idea for an "inator" ala Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Made with a box, cardboard, foam, printed pieces and a Listerine bottle, the "Birthday Defun-inator" turns yummy chocolate ganache cupcakes into vegetables with evil dip!  Well, ok it doesn't REALLY turn them into vegetables...see, back in Druelselstein...no, no, wait we don't have time for a back story!

Why not a full Instructable? Well, it was kind of a 'found object' piece of art that developed as we went along, but I'll probably post the recipe for Doofenshmirtz's Own Evil Dip soon!

Instructables and Phineas and Ferb, they just seem made for each other!

*** Update, the "inator" inspired the birthday boy so much he's making his own so I will post a photos when it's complete.

That is just too awesome! Good work, and definitely cool that Dan Provenmire came by... Maybe it was to make sure you weren't infringing on his highly intellectual copyrights =P

This is awesome. Were the vegetables real, or cupcakes decorated to look like vegetables?

You actually had the actual Dr Doofenshmirtz at your actual P&F themed party??

I'm forty-three, and I'm jealous!
