Step 14: Buy Materials for Tactile Book

You want to buy fur, leather and the base structure (which is a 16x20 wooden frame) and black paint. You can get these at Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts and Guiry's Color Source.

Step 15: Draw Waves on Swell Paper and Put Through Heating Machine Twice

You want to use the special marker for swell paper to draw waves for water. You put it through the heating machine so that it makes the marker drawing pop out.

Step 16: Color Yellow Space and Waves of Swell Paper With Blue Sharpie

This is to show that the waves of the water are blue. So you want to make it visually appealing.

Step 17: Put Two Layers of Mod Podge Hard Coat on Waves and Blue Drawing

You want to do this to harden the swell paper material to avoid getting the material scraped off.You also want to do this to the blue drawing so that it pops out the blue to create a bright blue water setting.

Step 18: Put Blue Painting Tape on Inside of Base Structure

You want to do this to avoid getting black paint on the side of the base structure or on your 3D models. If paint does get on the inside, use sand paper to get black paint off the inside outline wood.

Step 19: Paint Top and Outside of Base Structure With Black Chalk Paint

The base structure is made of wood.So you want to paint the outside and top outlining of this base structure. This give the structure a better look.

Hot glue tiny side pieces with the long pieces to make a rectangle.Hot glue tile and author name piece on top of rectangle base.

Step 21: Paint Top of Title Laser Cut Piece "The Family Without Hope" With Black Chalk Paint

Step 25: Cut Out Braille Title of Story and Author Name

Make sure they are two separate lines of braille text. One strip for the title and one strip for the author name.

Step 26: Spray Adhesive Spray on Cut Out Braille Title/Author Name and Apply to Laser Cut Structure
