After living in Pittsburgh for 8 years my family ended up moving and leaving behind a small back yard filled with all sorts of plants including fruit trees, shrubs, flowers, and even some salvaged from bukes given to my family as a gifts. The movers "people who move boxes" told my family they could transfer what ever plants we had potted but did not guarantee that anything would survive. My brother and I followed to pot any of the plants we could save from the yard. Fortunately a few of the plants did survive, but you should be able to see the different time periods reflected in the pictures, considering the place where I live does not get much light. These are the flowers that remain.

Really stunning macro shots! Do you have a Flickr account? If not, I would suggest creating one when you have the time- they LOVE these kinds of photos!
